• Proven written, oral, and comprehension proficiency in English/other language(s).

• At least 2 years’ experience as a professional translator.

• B.A. Degree or equivalent including coursework in language training and expertise in specific area(s) of study (medicine, social services, business, etc.).

• Professional language affiliations (American Translators Association (ATA), Delaware Valley Translators Association (DVTA), etc.).

• Language accreditation by American Translators Association (ATA) (strongly recommended by LSC) or equivalent, such as university or international certifying organization.
